I’ve created a system that cracks this code by using a special ingredient: The Beat Game. The Beat Game forms the backbone of every weekly Rock and Roll Preschool Episode. It’s a color-based interactive rhythm game that makes learning music fundamentals super easy and really fun. In addition to The Beat Game, each Rock and Roll Preschool episode includes a Show and Tell segment that focuses on the instrument of the week. We’re also going to have Dance Parties with Marlow the Dancing Cat. Every week we’ve got a Tiny Rock Show, performed by the Jones Jones Duo, which also features the instrument of the week. Each episode is packed full of awesome educational games and surprises that are specially designed for maximum fun. I’ve put years of research and passion into creating Rock and Roll Preschool and I’d really love to share it with your child.

My musical journey began at the age of five when my mother took me to see the legendary Ray Charles. The concert is still vivid in my mind and set me on a path of musical discovery that led to an undergraduate degree in music from Wichita State University and a Masters in Music from Tufts University. Decades of performing, teaching and research have led me to my passion: introducing young minds to music and igniting the spark that can create a lifelong connection with music.

    Rock and Roll Preschool F.A.Q.

    • My child is 3 years old can I still take the program?

      Absolutely! The program is designed for students to work independently without parent help for ages 4-7 years. Your 3 year old will likely need a parent to assist to make sure they get the most out of the program.

    • What do I need to get started? Do I need a drum set?

      You will need 2 pairs of drums sticks (no drum set needed), a book and a computer or ipad. We recommend these from Amazon.

    • Can the videos be watched more than once?

      We encourage it! Practice makes perfect. All videos will be released one week at a time and are yours to practice anytime.
