REAL MUSIC – REAL DRUMMING – CRAZY FUN

Get ready to rock, roll, and make some noise! Rock & Roll Preschool is a high-energy drumming class designed especially for little musicians. Children learn the fundamentals of rhythm, beat, tempo, coordination, musical listening and playing together—all while playing along to fun music they’ll love and can rock out to!

At the heart of every class is The Beat Game, a colorful, interactive rhythm experience that makes foundational music concepts easy to understand and incredibly fun to practice. Children will also explore a featured instrument during our Show & Tell, giving them the chance to discover how different instruments work and sound.

And, of course, no Rock & Roll Preschool class would be complete without a Dance Party with Marlow the Dancing Cat! Through movement, musical games, drumming, and plenty of surprises, every class keeps future superstars engaged, learning, and excited to come back for more.

Rock & Roll Preschool was created with years of research, creativity, and a whole lot of passion for early childhood music education. It’s not just a drumming class—it’s a place where little rock stars build confidence, develop musical skills, and discover the joy of making music.

Warren’s drum color theory, infectious excitement and patience with pre-school aged Cooper was the perfect combination to jump start Cooper in his musical journey.  As a third grader now, he loves playing the drums! (And at the risk of bragging… he’s really good!).  It gives Cooper confidence, rounds out his learning, and it just plain fun.

My musical journey began at the age of five when my mother took me to see the legendary Ray Charles. The concert is still vivid in my mind and set me on a path of musical discovery that led to an undergraduate degree in music from Wichita State University and a Masters in Music from Tufts University. Decades of performing, teaching and research have led me to my passion: introducing young minds to music and igniting the spark that can create a lifelong connection with music. 

Rock and Roll Preschool F.A.Q.

  • My child is 3 years old can I still take the program?

    Absolutely!  The program is designed for students to work independently without parent help for ages 4-7 years.  Your 3 year old will likely need a parent to assist to make sure they get the most out of the program.

  • What do I need to get started?  Do I need a drum set?

    You will need 2 pairs of drums sticks (no drum set needed), a book and a computer or ipad.  We recommend these from Amazon.

  • Can the videos be watched more than once?

    We encourage it!  Practice makes perfect.  All videos will be released one week at a time and are yours to practice anytime.
